Children’s Flea Market Coming Up at Southern Regional High School
A new kind of flea market is coming to Manahawkin on Saturday, April 29, and if you’re a parent who needs something for your child, or perhaps your children may find something they need, the upcoming Children’s Flea Market in Southern Regional High School’s 9/10 gymnasium is the place to go from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. that day.
Hosted by the Southern Regional Future Educators Association, the flea market is expected to have a wide variety of child-related items – from clothes and accessories to toys, books, games, and more – and all proceeds will go toward the SRHS Child Development Learning Lab Playground fund. The easiest access to the 9/10 gym is through the parking lot connected to the Route 9 entrance.
If you have something, or a lot of things, those within the community are encouraged to email Catherine Latshaw at firstname.lastname@example.org to make arrangements for donation dropoffs. Vendor space still may be available, the cost of which is $30 per table for a 6-foot space. A vendor application is available online at srsd.net, under the “latest information” section of the district home page. —D.B.
