Common Goal
To the Editor:
To those who suffer the brunt of late-night loudness for living so close to the bars, we extend our sympathies. We live several streets away from the noise and are awoken at all hours from the same rowdy behavior, so we can imagine how bad it is up close and personal.
In his letter last week, Tom McGonigal (“Police Constrained”) conveyed his frustration with our elected officials as well as the police to resolve the situation. I would like to suggest that the answer may be to reach out to the recently formed “Beach Haven Future” group for help. As they stated, their goal is “being committed to the creation of a healthy and sustainable business community.”
I would think that dealing with this problem would be right up their ally (pardon the pun).
