Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge, internationally famous as a birding and nature destination, is offering free nature walks throughout the summer at the Holgate Wilderness Area, located at the south end of Long Beach Island. Walks are themed and run Thursdays through Sundays, from now until September 2nd.

Beachcombing

What was that seashell when it was alive? Learn about the shells, egg cases and other objects that wash ashore with the tides as well as the historical purpose of beachcombing. Join us for a one-hour, ½-mile leisurely walk along the coast.
