The "Lectures on the Lake" series continues with this free program about the beautiful, magical monarch butterflies that need our help.
Volunteer Master Naturalist Mary Lenahan will discuss the monarch butterfly life cycle, their annual migration to Mexico and the threats that monarchs face today. Learn how planting native nectar plants and milkweeds can help the monarch population come back.
Bring insect repellent, a flashlight and something to sit on. The site is ADA accessible.
The program is free but donations to the presenter are welcome.
