Pacesetter Realty Making Its Mark on LBI
Pacesetter Realty recently moved into its new location at 1412 Long Beach Blvd., next to the Hand’s Department Store in North Beach Haven.
“We opened on LBI about three years ago in a small office on Bay Avenue but we felt we needed more space and more exposure. So when this great location became available, we were very excited,” said Broker Joseph “Jay” DeYonker.
DeYonker considers that exposure is what makes Pacesetter stand out.
“We believe the best way to get a house sold is to give it maximum exposure, and we do that through exposure to over 100 websites on the internet, open houses advertised on the internet, as well as maximum exposure in various MLSes (multiple listing services) throughout the state of New Jersey,” he said.
Pacesetter belongs to Jersey Shore MLS, Monmouth MLS and Trend MLS, the last of which includes the western part of New Jersey and into Pennsylvania. Together, the broad listing serves to “significantly expand the number of agents who see our listings,” DeYonker continued, “particularly since many of our buyers come from northern New Jersey, Monmouth County and Pennsylvania.”
Pacesetter Realty believes in open houses. Frequent open houses offer significant exposure, particularly when advertised online, in MLS and on social media. The agency also boosts online ads to target buyers outside of the Philadelphia and New York City areas who might be looking for a second home or rentals.
Pacesetter agents live on the Island and are part of the Island community, and as such are ideally suited to assist old-timers and newcomers alike, agency representatives said.
Pacesetter agents also serve and support the community by participating in numerous community events.
“Agents are always available to assist clients and to answer questions about the Island, real estate related or not. They pride themselves on personal service and always go the extra mile,” DeYonker noted.
Pacesetter has recently expanded its summer rental program and has aligned with RealTime Rentals, so homeowners have real-time online access to their rental calendars. Clients have said they are very excited about the high level of service and the ability to stay in touch with their rental properties.
“We are looking forward to a great summer season for rentals and are still taking listings from homeowners who would like our assistance with rentals for this summer,” said DeYonker.
“The Island spring sales market has always been strong, but we anticipate an even stronger market this year with the threat of higher interest rates and a stronger economy,” he said.
“This may be the right time to consider selling your home; buyers are already out shopping so that they can enjoy the summer in their new homes.”
Pacesetter Realty offers a free competitive market analysis and works with homeowners to price their houses properly, the broker stated. “And with our open house, three MLSes and our social media exposure, Pacesetter is able to get houses sold.”
