Panel Discussion Focuses on Empowering Young Women
In celebration of Women’s History Month, the Stafford branch of the Ocean County Library will present a panel discussion on current issues facing young women on Wednesday, March 22, at 7 p.m. Branch Manager Natalie Niziolek said the discussion will cover a variety of topics, including raising young women from both a mother’s and father’s perspectives, dealing with career choices and the workplace, and creating and maintaining a professional reputation.
“The goal of the panel is to foster a practical discussion with solid advice for all in attendance and is non-political in nature,” she said.
Panelists include: Assemblywoman DiAnne C. Gove, R-9th; Rory Wells, assistant Ocean County prosecutor/community relations officer; and Meghan Gross, president of Gem Strategic Communications/executive VP of Grayling Public Relations.
Niziolek said discussion will focus on issues for high school, college, and young professional women.
“All members of the community are encouraged to attend this event and learn how we can all support and encourage young ladies in our community to grow into empowered women,” she said.
