To the Editor:

Our thanks to Tom and Margie Stewart for a wonderful evening of delicious food and fun at Uncle Will’s Grill in Beach Haven. The dining room was filled with happy diners for the successful benefit held for the Friends of Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter.

The very generous donation by Uncle Will’s for the evening’s event will be used for the benefit of animals in Southern Ocean County, providing for needs such as supplemental medical/veterinary care, spay/neuter projects, and sending dogs to rescue. Our thanks also go to Becca Gee and Connie Lohr for organizing the event.  

Thank you to everyone who supported the event to make the evening such a success.  Uncle Will’s will continue to collect dog and cat food people drop off at the restaurant for the shelter’s food pantry. The dogs thank you, the cats thank you, and we thank you.
