Stages Festival Productions at Area Libraries in March
The New Jersey Theatre Alliance’s “Stages Festival” will return to the Ocean County Library in March with numerous productions presented at several branches.
The alliance is committed to providing Broadway-quality productions in partnership with local playhouses. Established in 1981, the festival was designed to encourage New Jersey residents to attend local professional theaters by making the experience affordable, accessible and fun. These family-friendly productions are available to the public free of charge, but registration is required.
“Peter and the Wolf” will be presented by the Pushcart Players on Saturday, March 18, at 2 p.m. at the Barnegat branch.
“Miss Nelson is Missing” will be presented by The Centenary Stage Co. on Saturday, March 25, at 2:30 pm at the Stafford branch.
The East Lynne Theater Co. will bring “Victorian Magic” to the Tuckerton branch on Monday, March 27, at 6 p.m.
The Pushcart Players will present “Stone Soup and Other Stories” Thursday, March 30, at 6 p.m. at the Little Egg Harbor branch.
The Stages Festival is made possible in part by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, Bank of America, and The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey.
