Agenda Off Base

Oct 18, 2017

To the Editor:

If in fact the LBI school board did not vote to close the LBI Grade School, it tells us they understand a need for students that is currently being met by two great schools. A group of people, the school board, has for eight years an agenda that doesn’t make sense to voters. Perhaps their agenda is way off base.

The solution is:

1. Replace the school board with fresh new ideas, not try having a referendum three or four times with same old, same old.

2. Split the $18.4 million between the two properties if it is helpful to students for their education.

P.S. Voters are not stupid; we need to change our agenda.
