Artists Sought for Monthly Displays at LBI Library

Sep 12, 2018

Are you an artist looking to showcase your work? The Long Beach Island branch of the Ocean County Library in Surf City is looking for artists to display their work in the branch’s meeting room.

Currently, the room is hosting the painted poetry exhibit, which runs through September.

“There are monthly slots available throughout the year,” said Toni Smirniw, branch manager. “We’re looking for people who might want to exhibit in October, November and December.”

She said the exhibits can be paintings, drawings, mixed media and photography. Smirniw said anyone interested can stop by the branch to see the space and/or inquire about availability. For more information, call her at 609-494-2480 . —E.E.
