The Atlantic City Ballet will perform “It’s a Shore Holiday” this Sunday, Nov. 25 at 3 p.m. at the Stafford Township Arts Center.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children 12 years of age and younger. They may be purchased online at or at the door starting at 2 p.m. the day of the show. For more information, call 609-978-5700, extension 2019.

The 36-year-old company, headed by Founding Artistic Director Phyllis Papa, is a truly professional troupe, with dancers from countries such as Italy, Brazil, Japan, Venezuela, Romania and, of course, the U.S.

“It’s a Shore Holiday” is one of the troupe’s lighter shows, described as a “Radio City-esque review” with live singers, a band, dancing Santas and a mix of contemporary and classical dance set to beloved holiday tunes. It is sort of an “introduction to ballet,” with Papa saying, “We love to be able to bring ballet to people in ways they may not have imagined.”  —R.M.
