Awesome Work

Sep 06, 2017

To the Editor:

Thank you for your wonderful article last week highlighting Chump, the osprey, and his second chance (“A Second Chance for Young Osprey Born in LBI Marsh”).

We are truly lucky to have two organizations that not only helped Chump, but contribute to making our island such a special place. The Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts and Sciences protects 21 acres of tidal saltmarsh and the Conserve Wildlife Foundation of NJ works to protect our endangered species.

I’ve come to learn that both of these foundations rely greatly on donations. Please allow them to continue with their awesome work and consider supporting them with a donation of your time or money.
