Bands and More at Charity Benefit in Little Egg

Oct 04, 2017

You, too, can join thousands of “miracle workers” just by having a good time.

The annual Children’s Organ Transplant Association benefit concert is Sunday, Oct. 15 from noon until 6 p.m. at the American Legion Post 493, 420 Radio Rd. in Little Egg Harbor.

The dozen bands to perform will include Jimmy Brogan, Jeremy Renner, Smile Mafia, The 559, Ty Mares Trio, Captain Bill, Sahara Moon, Ted Hammock and the Pickles, Barbara Lin Band, Brother SAL Band, Garage Kept and the Josh Werner Trio.

But music is just one part of the fun-filled day. There is a pumpkin-decorating contest, petting zoo, Chinese auction, costume contest for the kids, antique car show, fire truck rides, face painting, a bake sale, 50/50 raffle and more.

Adults pay $10 in advance or $20 at the door. Kids ages 9 and younger are $5 in advance, $10 at door, and children age 4 and younger are free.

Also, on Oct. 7, Naples Pizzeria in Little Egg Harbor will donate 5 percent of all sales to COTA. Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Goofy and Donald Duck lookalikes will make appearances between 1 and 2 p.m. and 5 and 6 p.m. P.J.
