Barnegat Democrats Announce New Leadership

Jun 15, 2018

Barnegat Democratic Municipal Committee members recently elected new party leadership at a reorganization meeting.

Peg Houle, who is currently secretary of the Barnegat Democratic Club, was elected to a four-year term as chairperson.

Dan Ward, who with running mate Paul Whitcraft are candidates for the Barnegat Township Committee, has been elected to a four-year term as vice chairperson.

The new leaders said they are looking forward to infusing new energy into the party organization and getting Democratic candidates elected this year.

“Involving our committee members is crucial to our success,” said Houle. “Many members have already approached me asking how they may help support our candidates in their districts.”

Houle and Ward will address the Barnegat Democratic Club at its 7 p.m. meeting on Wednesday, June 27, at the Barnegat Recreation Center, located behind the municipal building on West Bay Avenue.
