Barnegat Police Toy Drive Continues Through Dec. 15

The Barnegat Police Department announces that as as a result of the recent toy drive sponsored by PBA 296 and FOP 217, both unions have collected approximately 400 toys thus far that will be distributed to families through the Barnegat Township school system.

Lt. Jeff Ryan said officers are still collecting new, unwrapped toys through Friday, Dec. 15, and could use more items for kids ages 8 to 14. He said a drop box is located at the police station and township hall in the municipal complex at West Bay Avenue, as well as at Dolce Bagel and Pizza Café, Acme Market, Subbusters, Brighton at Barnegat clubhouse and Pinewood Estates clubhouse.
