Bass River State Forest volunteers are hosting a benefit walk for fellow volunteer George Morgan who passed away in 2016. The 3-mile walk will be preceded be comments from forest staff and friends of George and the unveiling of a sign for the pollinator garden that George helped develop.

The $5 per person fee (paid upon arrival) will be used to purchase plant identification markers to place in the pollinator garden so that visitors will learn the plants and help them know what to plant in their own gardens to benefit pollinators including butterflies.

Walk begins at the forest office. Water and snacks will be provided but bring lunch for after the walk. Heavy rain cancels.
