Books Make Thoughtful Gifts for All Ages

Nov 10, 2017

“A book is a gift you can open again and again” – Garrison Keillor

The holidays are just around the corner, and so is the Bookworm, at 1509 Long Beach Blvd. in Surf City, which will be open every weekend until Christmas to help shoppers find the perfect gift.

Cozy and inviting, the shop offers a nice selection in almost all categories.

Stop by and look over the latest releases, New York Times bestsellers and very appealing children’s books, such as the silly yet informative Baby University series by author Chris Ferrie.

Looking for something more local? Check out the many titles by Suzanne Tate, or the adorable story Lobsters on the Loose by Jennifer Ginn.

“Among our local selections, you can’t go wrong with The Jersey Shore Cookbook by Deborah Smith or our collection of local history, many of which are staff favorites,” added shop owner Juliana Doll.

Browsing is pleasurable with a knowledgeable staff ready to assist as necessary. Not finding the right item? Doll can help customers locate what they have in mind, either in-store or by special order.

Weekend hours are Friday from 2 to 5 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Hours will be extended around Thanksgiving and Christmas. Call for information, 609-494-8112.  —M.S.
