Children’s Summer Marine Science Programs Offered in Tuckerton

Children entering grades one through seven can register now for the popular Creature Features summer programs at the Jacques Cousteau National Estuarine Research Reserve, held 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Cousteau Education Center in Tuckerton. Celebrate the creatures of the estuary and the ocean with hands-on activities, games and special guests.

Here are the topics and dates for your budding Marine Scientist: “Dune Some Learning: Critters of Coastal Sand Dunes” is June 26; “Pinelands Pals, Animals of the New Jersey Pine Barrens,” July 3; “The Gulf Stream Express – Ocean Visitors from the Tropics,” July 10; “Pole to Pole, Cold Climate Marine Animals,” July 17; “Mud Monsters, Bottom Dwelling Creatures,” July 24; and “Hiding in Plain Sight, Animals of the Seagrass Beds,” July 31.
