Classic Failure

To the Editor:

Last week I went to our local Comcast office to update my TV package after having had it minimized while I was away. I was shocked to learn that Comcast no longer offers Turner Classic Movies (TCM) in the Long Beach Island market to new customers, or to those who change their service in any package. I checked other markets and found that TCM is still available elsewhere.

I have to pay $6.75 a month for a regional sports package that I do not patronize, yet a channel that had always been a part of Comcast’s service, and one that I regularly access, is no longer available. How come, Comcast?
