Cleanup Scheduled for Great Bay Boulevard on April 14

Jacques Cousteau National Estuarine Research Reserve
130 Great Bay Blvd., Tuckerton, NJ
Apr 14, 2018
8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Great Bay Blvd. in Tuckerton is a frequent location that members of the Southern Ocean Birding Group go to view shorebirds and waterfowl during the year. The Great Bay Boulevard Wildlife Management Area is a 4-mile lone peninsula separating Little Egg Harbor and Great Bay  by the mouth of the Mullica River.

The Southern Ocean Birding Group is again partnering with the New Jersey Watershed Ambassadors, NJEP and the Jacques Cousteau National Estuarine Research Reserve in conducting the spring Earth Day cleanup.

Please bring your own work gloves, your own refillable water bottles and some trash grabbers will be available. If there is heavy rain on April 14, the cleanup will not be rescheduled during the spring, but may be rescheduled for the fall.

Volunteers will meet at the parking lot of the JCNEER. Bathrooms will be available in the building, and donuts will be provided to get everyone started.

If you wish to join in the cleanup, please contact the SOBG at
