Girl Scouts of Daisy Troop 50516 in Tuckerton and Little Egg Harbor planted perennial bulbs at the three schools they attend – Frog Pond Elementary, George J. Mitchell Elementary and Tuckerton Elementary – as part of their Daisy Flower Garden journey project. They chose perennial bulbs so they can see year after year that they can have an impact on the world around them while making their community a better place.

The plants were donated by Sandi T’s in West Creek, My Three Sons in Parkertown and Hand’s Garden Center in Tuckerton.

This project is one of three Daisy-level journeys the girls are completing. When they finish their third and final journey next month, they will have achieved their Journey Summit Award, the highest award a Daisy Girl Scout can receive.  —P.J.
