Back home after following the team that became Super Bowl champions, the well-known “Eagle One” recreational vehicle made a stop at Southern Ocean Medical Center Feb. 21, where owners Patrick and Monica Moeller shared the celebration with the hospital “team.”

The Moellers, of Callan & Moeller Construction, have been donors to the hospital for more than 20 years. Most recently, Patrick and Monica made a significant contribution to the hospital’s new Cancer Care Center.

This celebration provided a special opportunity for Southern Ocean Medical Center to thank them for their tremendous support, hospital representatives said.

Nurses, physicians and other hospital team members who share in Eagle pride enjoyed such festive treats as Philly cheesesteaks and soft pretzels.

Eagle One recently received a lot of attention as it has become well known to the Eagles fan base over the years, standing out as a true example of steadfast Eagles devotion. The 38-foot-long vehicle is decked out in Eagles teal, and has appeared on media outlets including Philadelphia’s Fox 29 and Channel 6 ABC Action News.

The Moellers did not think twice about taking Eagle One on the road for the Super Bowl this February, and the win made the trip all the more worth it. —M.S.
