Oct 18, 2017

If you love the magic and illusions you see on “America’s Got Talent,” you may want to stop by the Stafford Township Arts Center on Saturday, Oct. 21, as The Maximilian Foundation hosts “Magical Max’s Night of Illusions” starting at 7 p.m. Tickets range from $10 to $40.

A family-friendly show for all ages, the event features the magical acts of Marty Martin, Jay Mattioli, David Corsaro, Mike Miller and Scott Alexander. Martin’s skill and formidable knowledge of magic has made him one of the most well-known and respected people in the magic community, while Mattioli’s unique style of illusions has captivated the imagination of millions and reminds people what it is like to believe in the impossible and to have fun. Corsaro has earned a reputation among other magicians as having unique material that reaches a variety of audiences, while Miller, a master magician and illusionist, combines magical effects with his imaginative sense of humor resulting in a delightfully clever show, and Alexander is a comedic magician whose name has lit up the marquee as a headliner for over seven years at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas

In accordance with the foundation’s mission, all proceeds from ticket purchases will help fund prevention programs in local schools, such as Southern Regional School District’s STYLE program and Steered Straight assemblies at Tuckerton Elementary, Eagleswood Elementary, Frog Pond Elementary and George Mitchell Elementary.

Tickets can be purchased online at staffordschools.tix.com.  —D.B.
