Entries Sought for 42nd Annual Ocean County Senior Art Exhibit

Calling all senior artists! The 42nd Annual Ocean County Senior Art Exhibit is requesting entries from both professional and nonprofessional artists 60 years of age or older. Entrants must be residents of Ocean County.

The 11 categories of of eligible work are as follows: acrylic painting, oil painting, watercolor painting, pastel, mixed media, print, photography, craft, digital/computer art, sculpture and works on paper, which includes charcoal, pencil, colored pencil, graphite, ink, pen, crayon or stylus of any sort.

Each artist may only submit one entry, and the art must be original work by the exhibiting artist, created within the past three years, and not previously entered in county senior art shows or in the New Jersey State Senior Art Show.

Artwork will be received only on Wednesday, June 6, between 9 a.m. and noon in the lobby of the Jay and Linda Grunin Center for the Arts on the Ocean County College campus in Toms River.

A nonrefundable entry fee of $10 – cash only; exact change – is required at the time of submission.

The 42nd Annual Ocean County Senior Art Exhibit will be open for public viewing on the second floor of the Grunin Center Gallery from June 9 to July 7.
