Free Performance of New Jersey Symphony Orchestra at Ocean County College

Jun 06, 2018

See the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra – at no cost – under the night sky. The orchestra will perform at 8 p.m. on June 26 on the campus mall at Ocean County College. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets, as no other seating will be available.

“Enjoy glorious Broadway songs and rousing opera overtures with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra,” OCC urges. “Watch the fireflies dance along to the overture to ‘Crazy for You,’ and catch a glimpse of a shooting star during Rossini’s fiery overture to William Tell. You may even hear a familiar tune from a galaxy far, far away.

“It’s a warm summer’s evening of the fun and familiar at this summer’s NJSO parks concerts!”

No reservations are required for this free show, sponsored by JCP&L/FirstEnergy Foundation and PNC Bank in partnership with Ocean County College.

OCC is located on College Drive in Toms River. For more information, visit grunincenter.org. —J.K.-H.
