Free Summer Friday Night Concert Series in Tuckerton

Tuckerton borough has announced its Free Summer Concert Series presented by The Tuckerton Pride and Celebration Committee and held on the Tuckerton Seaport’s outdoor stage starting at 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Friday evenings. These informal gatherings are great for families because the Seaport playground and mini-golf are open for free, and so is the music.

Audiences should bring beach chairs or blankets and snacks. Alcoholic beverages and pets are not allowed; smoking is permitted only in the clamshell parking lot. Here’s the summer lineup:  July 6 – Basement Musicians sing Johnny Cash and other classics; July 13 – The Kootz, rock ’n’ roll program; July 20 – Craig Newell as Elvis; July 20 – BJ and The Band, doo wop program; July 27 – Joey D’s Rockin’ Oldies; Aug. 3 – Rave On, Buddy Holly and more; Aug. 10 – The Fabulous Silver Wings, tribute to country classics; Aug. 17 – RB Express, ’50s, ’60s and ’70s classics; and Aug. 24 – Strictly 60’s Band, Beatles, Stones, Doors, Motown covers.
