Get a Spiritual Workout With Facilitator Camille Conte, Mondays in July in Ship Bottom

Jul 01, 2014

Personal growth is the name of the game when Camille Conte, a licensed practitioner of the Science of Mind way of life via Centers for Spiritual Living, brings her gifts to the Island this month. The entertainer, inspirational speaker and leader invites everyone to exercise and strengthen their spiritual muscles through four Monday-night workshops beginning July 7, at Ship Bottom Massage, located at 27th Street and the Boulevard.

The topics are: meditation on July 7; visioning on July 14; prayer on July 21; and circulation on July 28. Each class runs from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. A “love offering,” or voluntary donation, is accepted for each class. But space is limited, so be sure to sign up ahead by emailing spiritualpractices@gmail.com.

The workshops are designed to help people develop the tools to find their spiritual path, to release their inner divinity and to feel centered, awakened and whole. Previous attendees have reported feeling “a profound and immediate effect” on their lives.

Science of Mind was originally a book, written in 1926 by Ernest Holmes, a metaphysics expert in the New Thought movement, who also founded Science of Mind magazine the same year (which is still published today) and founded the Centers for Spiritual Living organization some 60 years ago.

Conte is also a radio personality with her own podcast, “The Camille Conte Show,” at camilleconte.com.  —V.F.
