Harnessing Girl Power to Make Healthy Decisions

Mar 12, 2018

Having a teenage girl in the family is hard on everyone, but perhaps no one more than dear ol’ mom. If that sounds like your life, consider attending Southern Ocean Medical Center’s Healthy Choices Dinner and Program for sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade girls and their moms from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 21.

Discussions include how to improve communicating, dangers of sexting, self-defense, preventing fetal alcohol syndrome, host liability, mother/daughter time, handling stress and more.

The event is being held at the Sea Oaks Country Club, 99 Golf View Drive, Little Egg Harbor Township. Participation is free, but registration is required. To register, call 800-362-8677.  —G.G.S.
