Heartfelt Thanks

Jun 14, 2017

To the Editor:

It is both with a touch of sadness, but also a heart full of gratitude, that I have stepped down as destination marketing manager for the LBI Chamber of Commerce.

Though I grew up here and learned a full appreciation of what it truly means to be from the LBI region, the way the local community welcomed me back with arms extended – after a 20-year stint away while I worked in the big city – truly warmed my heart.

I will never be able to thank everyone enough for their friendship, guidance, kindness, compassion and sense of community. It has meant the world to me.

While I may no longer be representing our beloved Island in a work capacity, community members will still see me out everywhere possible, supporting their events and the causes that are close to my heart.

My new position as director of digital marketing for AtlantiCare will keep me close, and I may be able to serve as a community conduit between the organization and Long Beach Island.

I would like to take these last few words to thank the board of directors of the LBI Chamber for affording me the opportunity to bring life and love to the community I cherish so.

In closing, I would like to welcome Calla Aniski as the new destination marketing manager of the LBI Chamber. Please provide her with the same courtesies and kindness you have given me over the past 18 months. I know she will do a great job for you all.

Thank you all, again, for welcoming me back home. It truly has been my complete pleasure working alongside you.
