Hurricane Relief, Fall Activities Topics at SOC Chamber Pop-Up Meeting

Oct 04, 2017

Hurricane relief in Texas and Florida will be outlined by Joe Mangino of START at the Oct. 11 meeting of the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce.

The regional chamber’s October Pop Up Meeting starts at 3:30 p.m. and will be held at a commercial property at 777 East Bay Ave., Manahawkin.

Mangino will be the keynote speaker talking about the recent participation of his group, START, in hurricane relief efforts.

Those who come can also find out about fall programs such as the Holidays Redefined shopping rollout, Shop Small Saturday, the kickoff of Southern Ocean Made, upcoming Love Your Chamber Day, holiday parties and after-hours get-togethers.

The brief program also includes announcements, networking and refreshments.

There is no cost to attend, but a suggested donation of $10 will benefit the Maximilian Foundation/Hope Sheds Light.

The Pop Up Meetings, in partnership with the Ocean County Board of Realtors, are a unique brand of membership meeting that is informal and informative, allowing businesspeople to check out retail space that is available to open or expand their companies.

RSVP is recommended, as space varies per location. Call 609-494-7211 or send to info@sochamber.com.  —M.S.
