The cast of MTV’s “Jersey Shore” reunited on July 11 to plug Burger King’s new chicken parm sandwiches. In a TV spot filmed at the Barnegat Township location for the fast food chain, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Pauly D, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Deena Cortese, Vinny Guadagnino and Sammi Giancola caught up on how life’s been since the series finale of the hit MTV show in 2012.

The reality show was launched on MTV in December 2009. The series, which followed the lives of eight housemates spending their summer at the shore, also featured episodes in Miami Beach and Italy. Cast member Ronnie Magro was not present at the reunion.

“We need a lot of chicken parm sandwiches,” says Pauly D (real last name DelVecchio), talking to a worker at the counter at the onset of the nearly six-minute spot. “The chicken parmesan sandwiches are out, and who better to try it out than my crew?”

Soon, two huge plates of sandwiches are placed on the table. While bonding over the new menu item, moms Farley and Polizzi tell their former party pals what it’s like to be a parent.

“Parenting is kind of like being hungover all the time: I don’t want to wake up; I’m tired; I’m always screaming; I’m miserable,” shares Polizzi, who is mom of Lorenzo, 4, and Giovanna, 2.

“But it’s the best misery ever,” adds Farley, who is mom of Meilani, 3, and baby boy Greyson.

“The Situation” doesn’t let those comments deter him.

“I want to propose in the next three months,” he gushes to the group while talking about his longtime girlfriend, Lauren Pesce. “I’m trying to have a little Situation.”

Cortese is also taking a big step. The reality personality lets the clan know that she’s set to tie the knot soon.

“I’m getting married in three months,” shares Cortese, who got engaged to Christopher Buckner in Mexico in November.

Toward the end of the video, DelVecchio hands out those cardboard crowns worn by kids at birthday parties.

“We haven’t seen each other for so long, but when we sit down, it’s like we just saw each other,” Polizzi reflects.

Burger King posted the video on July 13 on its social media sites.

Barnegat Mayor Albert Bille said officials were in the dark about the commercial being filmed in town. Don’t expect him to watch it.

“I know (the show) was very popular, but that’s not my thing,” he said.

“I’m interested in the Jersey Shore, but not the ‘Jersey Shore’ TV program,” said Committeeman John Novak.
