Ladies of Laughter Comedy Event at STAC on Oct. 21 to Benefit Komen Foundation

Oct 12, 2016

Ladies of Laughter was founded in the 1990s by a bunch of comediennes as a part of a support group when faced with health issues and a way to raise money to further their careers. Now, the group utilizes an arsenal of more than a dozen funny women to provide lots of laughs in comedy clubs, casinos and event venues throughout New Jersey and across the country.

On Friday, Oct. 21, Patty Rosborough, Leighann Lord, Jocelyn Chia and Stacy Kendro will bring “Funny and Fabulous” to the stage inside the Stafford Township Arts Center as a benefit for the Central and South Jersey Chapter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The performance is slated to begin at 7:30 p.m.

VIP tickets are $50 per person, while orchestra seats are available for $35 per person and rear seating can be purchased for $25 per person. During the event, several women’s health organizations will be on site to provide health information and free screenings.

Stafford Township Arts Center is located at 1000 McKinley Ave. in Manahawkin. Tickets can be purchased online at or by calling the box office at 609-489-8600.  —D.B.
