LBI Health Department Requests Ocean County Residents’ Help With Survey

The Long Beach Island Health Department, in partnership with the Ocean County Health Department, the county prosecutor’s office and others, has helped the DART Prevention Coalition launch a community assessment survey for residents of Ocean County. DART, which is comprised of community leaders, focuses on preventing underage drinking, prescription drug abuse and the illegal use of marijuana and tobacco in the county.

The online survey, for individuals 18 years of age and older, includes questions pertaining to alcohol, tobacco, marijuana and prescription drugs. “Results will be used to help us understand the current landscape around substance use in Ocean County,” the LBI Health Department explained.
