Saturday, June 30, will mark Business Administrator and Chief Financial Officer Garrett Loesch’s last day with Little Egg Harbor Township.

Mayor Ray Gormley and the township committee met with him in executive session after their June 14 regular meeting to talk about his separation agreement, Loesch said on Tuesday.

“My last contract was when (Arthur) Midgely was mayor (in 2014), and when Gene Kobryn took over, they (the committee) rescinded it. When it was redone at the end of 2016, I made sure I was covered for the days I worked holidays and weekends through November. I’ll take my accumulated vacation and sick time pay over two years.”

Loesch said he is looking forward to retirement and spending more time with his family and grandchildren. But he won’t lack for things to do. He is retaining his other municipal job as chief financial officer for neighboring Tuckerton Borough.
