Lunch and Learn About the Makers Movement at the Tuckerton Seaport Dec. 13

Dec 05, 2017

The Dec. 13 “Lunch and Learn” program at the Tuckerton Seaport will be hosted by artisans from the MakeShift Union who will answer the question “What is the ‘Maker Movement’ and why is it important?” The MakeShift Union’s mission is to highlight the underground current of Makers, or artisans, who they claim are changing the landscape of production and consumerism in America.

Take in a brief presentation about the history of the Maker Movement and get a hands-on demonstration on making natural decorations led by a local artisan. This Lunch and Learn program is held at 9:30 a.m. in the Hunting Shanty. Admission is $2. Call the Tuckerton Seaport at 609-296-8868 to register or go to P.J.
