Magicians Entertaining at Four Library Branches

Jul 12, 2017

Magic will be in the air this month at four Ocean County Library branches with performances by Chad Juros and the Amazing V.

Juros will be performing at three branches on Tuesday, July 18, beginning with the Little Egg Harbor branch at 10:30 a.m., later appearing at the Barnegat branch at 2:30 p.m. and the Lacey branch at 6:30

The Amazing V (real name Brian Vernachio) will be performing on Wednesday, July 26, at 6:30 p.m. at the Stafford branch.

A leukemia survivor, Juros began learning magic with encouragement from his father while he was a patient at Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia. He has taken his act as far as Aruba, where he was invited numerous times by the prime minister to perform for under-privileged families of the island. Juros is also the youngest magician ever to perform at The White House, by special invitation of President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush. He has been featured on television shows including ABC’s “Good Morning America,” CW Network’s “Penn & Teller Fool Us” and “Criss Angel Mindfreak.”

Vernachio is owner of Magic Hat Productions in Beachwood, and combines humor with sleight-of-hand routines.
