New Restaurant’s First 4th of July Clambake to Benefit Oyster Program

Celebrate Independence Day on the bay in Beach Haven at Parker’s Garage & Oyster Saloon’s first-ever 4th of July Clambake. “We are so excited to host this one-of-a-kind event!” the restaurant owners note.

Proceeds from the evening’s cash bar, which includes Jetty Session Ale, will go to the Jetty Rock Foundation to support the new Oyster Recycling Program.

Two seatings are available for next Tuesday: 5 to 8 p.m., at a cost of $50 per person, and 8:30 to 11 p.m., for $65 per person.

The menu includes clams, kielbasa, corn, potatoes and shrimp, as well as oysters, suckling pig, whole snapper, pulled pork, BBQ chicken, Kobe beef hot dogs, Jersey sweet corn, hush puppies, “Maria’s cole slaw,” potato salad, pasta salad and red-white-and-blue shave ice.

“If you know our family of restaurants, you know that community is at the basis of everything we do,” said Parker’s proprietors, who also own Mud City Crab House, the Old Causeway Steak & Oyster House, Ship Bottom Shellfish and The Black Whale Bar & Fish House. “We are constantly investing back into the people and environment of the LBI region.”
