Pangaea to Hold Second Community Health Fair

Jun 13, 2017

Pangaea Naturals’ second annual Community Health Fair on Friday, June 23, is a chance to find demonstrations and samples of healthful options under an outdoor tent from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine.

“Our goal is to connect the community with our premium vendors, and to effectively communicate the benefits of a health lifestyle,” said Mike Greenblatt and Becky Tarditi, co-founders/owners of Pangaea Naturals Health Food Market at 657 East Bay Ave., Manahawkin.

The tented event introduces samples and explanations of new products, a nice way for the health-conscious public to get a sense of what’s being offered.

“We are very excited about the number of gift baskets our vendors are contributing, as there will be several lucky attendees,” Tarditi added.

Here’s a partial list of the vendors who will be attending: Evan Healy (farm to face – organic/natural skin care), Natural Factors (sustainable supplements), Maximum Marketing (brokers of organic/natural grocery and body care), KeHE distributors (one of the nation’s largest  distributors of natural products – catering to independent grocers), Alaffia (every purchase empowers) and Garden of Life (MyKind Organic supplements).

In addition, Swell Chiropractic is participating, as well as Coastal Massage Therapy.

“In addition to the many demos, samples, sample gift bags, gift baskets, a huge addition to the event this year is that we are offering a 10 percent discount on all products in the store for the day,” the owners said.  No other discounts/coupons will apply, and the discount will not apply to the purchase of gift cards.

Tarditi and Greenblatt are hoping for a sunny day, but regardless, the event will go on under the big red tent.

Located in the Manahawkin Mart Shoppes, Pangaea Naturals carries the highest quality foods, certified organic produce, vitamins, supplements, and health and beauty aids. Learn more at the website pangaeanaturals.com.  —M.S.
