The Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts and Sciences (LBIF) is hosting the 29th annual Juried Fine Arts Festival curated by Paragon Fine Arts Festivals on Saturday, July 22, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday, July 23, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. More than 70 artisans from across the country create an outdoor gallery filled with handmade original artwork, including painting, photography, sculpture, metalwork, digital art and mixed media. Discover exquisite pieces of jewelry, glass, ceramics, woodworking, paintings and sculpture. There’s a wide diversity of artistic styles within each artistic medium. Meet the artisans and learn about their background, methods and the work they create.

Local food truck Cedar Creek Cooking Co. will be selling a selection of sliders and shrimp. The LBIF is also back with a delicious ice cream sundae station in the Blai Gallery, where they make a sundae in a limited edition, handmade ceramic bowl for $15.

Paragon Fine Arts Festivals is back for its third year as the event curator for the annual Fine Arts Festival at the LBIF. Paragon focuses on bringing original, creative, handmade artwork to consumers.

The entrance fee is a $5 donation. This event is one of the LBIF’s largest fundraisers, and each donation goes directly toward helping to sustain the arts and cultural programs on LBI. The LBIF is located at 120 Long Beach Blvd. in Loveladies.
