Jun 05, 2017

A Philadelphia man faces charges of terroristic threats after reportedly threatening to stab a man at the Ship Bottom boat ramp while they were fishing recently. Edward Eroh, 56, was taken into custody without incident after he allegedly threatened the victim, a 53-year-old borough man, whom police did not identify. Sgt. Edward Williams and Patrolman Jon Potter responded to the scene at approximately 5:45 p.m. May 31, police said.

The victim and several other witnesses identified Eroh as the individual who made the threats, authorities said. The incident stems from tangled fishing lines, police reported.

Authorities are asking anyone with additional information to contact Williams at 609-494-3055 extension 171. —G.G.S.
