Patrons at Plantation Restaurant in Harvey Cedars can enjoy a full renovation inside the restaurant for summer 2017. While the design and décor are new, the restaurant still serves the stellar cuisine, service and experience that rates it a favorite with locals and a must-visit for visitors.

“We wanted to take what Plantation was and elevate it,” said General Manager Pete Palladino. “The new interior features a bright and inviting décor of vibrant colors and a hint of Miami Beach. Green and white frond leaf wallpaper, new lighting and flooring and playful artwork brighten up the space and create a fresh, welcoming and inspiring atmosphere.”

Old favorites remain on the menu, such as the signature clam chowder, and are joined by new, innovative seasonal items that blend contemporary American beach flavors.

“Executive Chef Jeff Alberti changes the menu seasonally, offering only the finest and freshest items available, from fresh fish and seafood to great steaks, burgers, salads, mussels, crab cakes and more. There is also a vegetarian menu and a happy hour menu with drink specials,” invites the recent press announcement of the renovation.

The energetic Monkey Bar was also redesigned and incorporates an extensive menu of specialty cocktails, both classic and creative, as well as beers and wines.

One of the new drink additions is the Water Tower, a 51-ounce rum punch cocktail served in an oversized fishbowl-like glass with multiple colorful straws, so the drink can be shared with friends.

The bar is vibrant with live music throughout the week plus acoustic artists on the weekends.

“Plantation is that spot at the shore where old friends gather and new friends meet, from casual dining and cocktails to brunch and private events,” describes the press release. “Guests can expect the same attention to detail that Planation Restaurant has always offered and an engaging and entertaining experience with top-notch customer service.”

“We are looking forward to showcasing the restaurant to our guests that having been dining with us for years and introducing Plantation to new diners, too,” Palladino said.

Plantation is owned by Fearless Restaurants, an expanding collection of neighborhood restaurants “featuring engaging décor, inspired hospitality, creative menus and a dining experience that allures all of the senses.”
