Solar Energy Talks Planned at LBI Library June 13, 21

Jun 04, 2018

People can discover ways to save money on energy costs during a “New Jersey Resources Solar Program” on Wednesday, June 13, at 6 p.m. and Thursday, June 21, at 10 a.m. at the Long Beach Island branch of the Ocean County Library in Surf City. The speaker is Nicholas Ianniello, a solar energy consultant with NJR Home Resources, a subsidiary of New Jersey Natural Gas. He said he will  present ways homeowners can combat rising energy costs by learning how to generate their own clean energy instead of paying for traditional electricity.

“When you are a customer of Atlantic City Electric or JCP&L (Jersey Central Power and Light), you are subject to their rate increases,” said Iannello. “By seeking alternate sources, such as solar power, you can keep the costs down. I’ll be explaining various cost-saving options.”

The two programs are the same, so registration for just one is necessary by calling the branch at 609-494-2480. E.E.
