Substance Abuse Program to Point Out Hazards in ‘Plain Sight’

Jun 06, 2018

The ongoing push to stamp out substance abuse in the younger generation continues with a “Hidden in Plain Sight” program for parents, teachers, youth workers and caregivers on Tuesday, June 12,  at 6:30 p.m. at Pinelands Regional High School.

Drug Enforcement Administration Special Agent Timothy P. McMahon will guide attendees through an exhibit and explain substance abuse trends, signs and symptoms. Parents of teens will learn to recognize unfamiliar hazards that are often in plain sight. The program is free.  —P.J.
