Herman’s Hermits – starring Peter Noone – are taking over the main stage at the Linda Grunin Center for the Arts at Ocean County College this month. The group will perform twice on Saturday, Nov. 25, with a matinee at 2 p.m. and an evening show set for 8.

“At the age of 15, Peter Noone achieved international fame as ‘Herman,’ lead singer of the legendary pop band Herman’s Hermits,” the college explains. “His classic hits include: ‘I’m into Something Good,’ ‘Can’t You Hear My Heart Beat,’ ‘I’m Henry VIII, I Am,’ ‘Listen People,’ ‘Wonderful World’ and ‘There’s a Kind of Hush All Over the World.’”

The band has sold more than 52 million recordings, and 14 singles and seven albums went gold.

According to OCC, “There is no doubt that Noone’s extraordinary talent, disarming wit, handsome features and compelling stage presence will continue to delight fans of all ages, for a long, long time to come.”

Tickets for the upcoming shows are $39 to $43, depending on seat location. A brunch or dinner add-on, from P.J. Sweeney’s, is $25.

To purchase tickets, go online at grunincenter.org, call 732-255-0500 or visit the box office, open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
