A free summer concert series brought by the Tuckerton Pride and Celebration Committee and the Tuckerton Seaport kicks off on Friday, July 7, with a doo wop and oldies music fest by RB Express starting at 6:30.

Other fun stuff: walk the boardwalk, and children get to play pirate on the ship in the playground. A free mini golf course is on site.

Bring your own chair and beverage, but alcohol is not permitted. This is a smoke-free venue, and pets are not allowed.

Coming up in July: Joey D’s Doo Wop on July 14, the Basement Musicians with a tribute to Johnny Cash on July 21 and classic country by The Fabulous Silver Wings on July 28. Four more concerts are planned for Fridays in August.

The Seaport is located at 120 West Main St. in historic Tuckerton. —P.J.
