Urgent Care Now Hosts Prescription Disposal Box

Urgent Care Now, in Manahawkin, is hosting an Rx Drop Box date with the Stafford Police Department on Saturday, March 23.

The community is encouraged to bring their unwanted, unused and expired medications to be properly and safely disposed of. No syringes or liquids will be accepted.

Stafford Police Officer Chris Fritz and Detective Chris Mulch will be at Urgent Care Now from 9 a.m. to noon with their portable prescription drop box.

Below is a list of the topics to be discussed, one per month. Each month a new date will be announced. Business professionals are welcome to attend one or all of the sessions in the series.

Kulin was selected as a member of the New Jersey Healthcare Executive Leadership Academy Class of 2019.

The academy’s goal is for physicians, hospitals and health insurance companies to come together and collaboratively work to improve health outcomes for patients in New Jersey. This year’s project focus is opioid epidemic in New Jersey.  —M.S.
