The diversified residential and commercial real estate developer Walters has rebranded its name and logo to highlight the umbrella organization and its new in-house services. In order to simplify the process for custom home clients, the company has incorporated all facets of the building process for residential and commercial projects.

In 2018, the company branched out by adding real estate brokerage and architectural services to its custom home offerings. “Our multifamily housing division has also been growing steadily, which makes this an appropriate time for a change,” said founder Ed Walters Jr. “We decided that the best approach was to rebrand all aspects of the company, including a new logo, messaging and digital assets.”

What began in 1984 as Walters and Sons Construction Co., a single-family custom home builder on Long Beach Island, has evolved into one of the most recognized developers in New Jersey. Walters has grown into a large-scale real estate operation.

The company returned to its roots as a custom homebuilder after Superstorm Sandy devastated the Jersey Shore in 2012. With infrastructure in place and experience building in the area, Walters moved quickly and began building energy-efficient ,storm-resilient homes. To date, Walters has built nearly 1,500 new homes from Little Egg Harbor Township to Manasquan.
